Maison Bartender Training Program
Alembic has conducted four Maison Training sessions around the UAE. Maison Bartender is a modular training program created by Pernod Ricard that uses iPad technology designed for new and experienced bartenders who are already engaged in the industry but are hungry for knowledge and looking to further their career in hospitality.
Maison offers 11 three- to four-hour modules that cover customer service, bartending skills and detailed training in 10 major drinks categories (vodka, gin, tequila, rum, Scotch whisky, global whiskies, cognac, absinthe, pastis, champagne). The modules cover the history and production process and the “how-to” appreciate each category, through to cocktails. Upon completing all of the modules bartenders will be issued a certification accredited from L’Ecole Hoteliére de Lausanne, Switzerland, one of the top hospitality universities in the world.
